Register to Play in DPCC's 9/11 Golf Tournament
Online registration ends: 5 p.m., August 29
September 11, 2025 @ Henderson Golf Club
The Democratic Party of Chatham County (DPCC) will hold its first annual golf tournament on September 11, 2025, at the Henderson Golf Club, located in Savannah, GA.
The inaugural golf event’s theme is “Honoring Legends and Supporting the Families of 9/11 Casualties.” The golf course will be decorated with US and 9/11 flags to pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 American heroes who lost their lives on that day. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Families of Freedom Fund, which has provided nearly $180 million in scholarships to families of people killed or permanently injured on 9/11.
A continental breakfast and cookout-style barbecue lunch are included for players. But everyone is welcome to join us for lunch and our awards and recognition ceremony.
Following the tournament, lunch will be served to honor the families of 9/11 casualties, former chairman of the Chatham County Commission Al Scott (2012–2020), former State Representative Jesse Blackshear (1969–1983), and three legendary Savannah mayors: Otis Johnson (2004–2012), Edna Jackson (2012–2016), and Van R. Johnson (2020–present).
